Painted by Pierre-Joseph Redouté, 1759 to 1840, was a painter and botanist from the Austrian Netherlands, known for his fabulous watercolours of roses, lilies and other flowers at the Château de Malmaison, many of which were published as large coloured stipple engravings, he was nicknamed "the Raphael of flowers" and has been called the greatest botanical illustrator of all time, this image contains two small other iris's, the colours are fantastic the size being 80cms by 60cms, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee or arrange a courier nationally, please feel free to visit our new showroom in Bretherton
