
This beautiful longcase clock made by a very well respected clock maker, he is listed as working there from 1784 to 180, having painted dial inscribed W Brownlie Hamilton, with Roman numeral and original hands with, seconds and date subsidiary chapters, an eight day movement striking on the bell, The case is of typical Scottish design with a flat top hood and spiral column, all in arched hood door with lovely painted decoration, the hood having lovely fretwork to the sides, the case being of flamed mahogany, satinwood star inlaid to the front door, enclosing original pendulum and weights, this fine grandfather clock retains its original finish, colour and patina, the dimensions are 51cms wide 25cms deep standing 214cms tall, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee, or arrange a courier nationally, please feel free to visit our new showroom in Bretherton
