This superb George III style longcase clock is veneered throughout, with patinated figured mahogany of excellent colour, having an arched top hood, with a slim body, the trunk with opening glazed door revealing a brass pendulum, and three capped brass weights, The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring with contrasting black Roman numerals, original pierced blue hands, and fabulous brass spandrels, and a strike/silent selector for night time, the arch which also bears 'Tempus Fugit' - Latin for time flies, it has an English chain driven eight day movement with lovely mellow Westminster chimes, this is a fabulous clock that will enhance any space, the dimensions are 24cms wide and 24cms tall a really good size, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee, or arrange a courier nationally please feel free to visit our new showroom in Bretherton
