Both stands feature beautifully figured mahogany with fine line-inlaid decoration to the circular top, together with a useful lower shelf which not only adds practicality but also gives the stands their attractive two-tier design.
They remain in good original condition, are nice and sturdy, and have developed a lovely rich, warm colour and patina consistent with their age.
